I am setting up a new internet based business targeting single people The Singles Gym. What’s wrong with the zillion advice books already on the market? Personally I find them, boring, tacky, sexist, unrealistic, misinformed and full of unhelpful generalizations - they are written first and foremost to make money.

We all want to be happy and we go about trying to be happy in many ways.  My own personal theory and what research in the field of positive psychology is now suggesting is that the number and the quality of your relationships tops the list in terms of what impacts people's levels of happiness.

My premise behind The Singles Gym is very simple: Get to know who you really are, become more of the person you can be, create the life you really want and you will attract the right kind of person.

The Singles Gym is all about being a successful happy single. Happy singles, who know who they are, and wo are iving the lives they want, are the ones who end up in happy relationships.
