Not everyone who is thinking of relocating abroad is looking for endless hours of heat and sunshine. The Costa Verde (green coast) region is situated in the northwest and is the most northern region in Portugal. It includes the provinces of Minho and the Douro coast. 

On deciding to buy a property in Portugal most people head straight for the local agents in the area they are looking in, or if back in the UK, surf around the Internet to see what they can find.
