Do you think you can write about 30,000 words in an upbeat style about what it is like to live in one of the following countries as an expatriate? If so, get in touch with me and I will connect you with the series editor.

Like Leslie Ann, in the previous blog entry, Ron van der Krol attended a workshop then booked in for some Book Cooks’ consultancy. After just one session he knew exactly what to do and ‘Native English for Nederlanders’ was published just last month. Writing is the perfect portable career
Submitted by Jo Parfitt on Thu, 07/06/2007 - 8:44am.I've been an expat for almost 20 years now and have managed to maintain my career throughout this time, even through five countries, two kids, endless visitors , , , ,by being a writer. I have written books, articles, copy, columns and allsorts. And now I teach about it too and my Book Cooks business offers a 'complete menu of services from brainwave to bookshelf'. So, I guess, I made it work.
