THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS GOVERN THE SITE AND ANY CONTRIBUTIONS THAT YOU MAKE AS A MEMBER. THE BOOKSHAKER.COM MANAGEMENT TEAM IS THE PROVIDER OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR INTERACTION. We provide opportunities for the shared communication of information by and among members of the SITE. We call “opportunities” interactions like forums, exchanges, conferences, events, web sites, on-line discussions, blogs, book pages, wikis, e-mail dialogues, web or phone conferences and any other form of interaction we offer to persons or entities which register for the Opportunities (the “Members”, ie you guys!) The SITE is also an Opportunity. Our Role is to facilitate the sharing of information among Members at these Opportunities. We use the shorthand “Role” to describe what we do. In addition, the Management Team intends to exercise its rights to publish that Content in a variety of forms of media and publications, including, but not limited to publication of the book, one or more other books, physical publications, magazines and on-line publications. We need to have broad license rights to the content on the SITE so that claims are not made against us at any later time. BY CONTRIBUTING CONTENT, YOU ARE ASSERTING THAT YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO GRANT THE MANAGEMENT TEAM A LICENSE TO THAT CONTENT IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO GIVE US LICENSE TO THE CONTENT YOU CONTRIBUTE TO THE SITE, OR IF YOU DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS TO DO SO, THEN PLEASE DO NOT CONTRIBUTE THE CONTENT TO THE SITE. THE DECISION TO CONTRIBUTE CONTENT TO THE SITE AND TO LICENSE THE CONTENT TO THE MANAGEMENT TEAM IS ENTIRELY YOURS TO MAKE. Holding the license to copy, modify, distribute, perform and display the content is an essential requirement for the Management Team. In consideration of BOOKSHAKER.COM MANAGEMENT TEAM providing you with membership to the SITE, you hereby grant to the THE MANAGEMENT TEAM a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, display, perform, sublicense and distribute the Content in any form of media now existing or hereafter created. The MANAGEMENT TEAM hereby grants back to you the Creative Commons “Attribution Non-Commercial” license to create derivative works based on the Content created by the SITE. Such license may be found at http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/2.0/uk/ PLAIN ENGLISH VERSION - you let us use your words in the formats we choose and we will attribute you as a contributor. You may reuse your own words, or the words of other people from the site as long as you adhere to the Creative Commons license. Please read it! 3. REPRESENTATIONS. The Community Manager’s operation of the Community and Venues depends, in large part, upon assurances that the Content provided is not subject to any legal rights of a third party. You agree that we may limit your activity, immediately remove you from any Opportunity, warn our Community of your actions, issue a warning, temporarily suspend, indefinitely suspend or terminate your membership and refuse to provide our Services to you if you breach this Agreement or the documents incorporated herein or if we believe that your actions may cause financial loss to or legal liability for you, our Members, or us.
