Heather has been hanging out with some right old famous names recently, including Sir Paul McCartney and Eric Clapton.

She’s also worked on a gothic rock album and is the soloist on a new hip hop track that is very jazzy soulful and west-coast sounding. Reminds me of Jazzy Jeff’s “Summertime” a bit. She’s very versatile!!

If you are in the Arundel area and like Jazz, she’s doing a latin twist on Gershwin, in the Arundel Festival soon.

The poster was designed by my mate Kim’s daughter Holly (my sort of god-daughter), who is off to Greece soon to work for three months, then up to London to start three years at Art College. Starting out in life like that, what fun!!

 

Bit of a mistake booking onto the Ecademy Blackstar day on the Monday, after three late nights at Beach Dreams like that, but I managed to get myself up to London to join in, and great fun it was as usual.

They start the day with a presentation designed to help us get the best of our networking, then we break into Masterminding tables of about 8-10 people. We get 8-10 minutes each, to present our business and ask for help with any challenges or ask for feedback. I was specifically looking for introductions to people who have big mailing lists, because I’m setting up Webinars as joint ventures, and I was given three leads to people with very large lists.

Thomas Power, founder with wife Penny, of Ecademy, made everyone laugh when I was on stage doing my “shameless plug” by telling me that he’d heard I was making money in Second Life, so I told him about my luxury condos which are now nearly all rented out.

SECOND LIFE

We have had what’s called a “griefer” in Second Life this week who has been messing with Hermione’s land, by raising and lowering the sand on the tropical island where the office and apartments are located. Check it out here at 234,232,21.

According to our tenant, Discordia Mills, the griefer’s name is AustinCloud Dagger – name and shame!! - and he’s now thoroughly banned!

Hermione is having to pay some Linden dollars to get it put right and get some security installed now.

 

Hermione's sister, Larimar, was in Second Life the other night and was enjoying the hot tub by the office, when a load of sand descended on her head - she thought she'd been cemented in!

It’s quite a shock when things like that happen in Second Life, because while we know it’s not real, it certainly feels it!! Like the time we were all at our villa changing to go out and some griefers came in the balcony door and waved a bazooka at us. My heart was pounding in Real Life too with the adrenaline rush!!

Which proves that your body cannot tell what is real, and what you imagine, which leads me onto manifesting……

I’m using Second Life nowadays as a way to manifest abundance and creating the life that I want to live in Real Life.  As an example, I have lost (more) weight since playing Second Life as I enjoy being slim and shopping so much there.
