Mother - One in a Million!

As we approach Mother’s Day (Sunday 02 March) and think about how our own mother is “one in a million”, take a moment to reflect on the experience of a mother I met last year.
Turning the clock back to November 2003, Lynette Whitty’s little 3yr old daughter -Tamara died suddenly from a rare illness leaving a gaping void in her family. Lynette had to come to terms with her own loss and, at the same time, help, comfort and support her other two
small children through the pain of losing their little sister.
As a working mother I’m sure you can appreciate this was an incredible stressful time. Lynette needed time herself to go through the grieving process, however, “normal life” had to continue for the sake of her other children.
Balancing work and family commitments meant that at the end of the day she was exhausted. As she put the children to bed she wanted a story book that would be a comfort to her and her children to know that little Tamara was still very special to them all even though they could not see her.
Back to the present – Lynette has taken this darkest pain and transformed it into a beautiful story book called “Tippytoes over the Rainbow” to help other parents and children through the pain of losing someone so special.
Would you be willing to help this mother to help others who are going through this pain?
All I’m asking you to do is pass onto to your contacts the website link below about Lynette’s book and ask them to do the same to their family, friends and contacts.
You may directly help someone in desperate need of support now…..
Here’s the website link for Lynette’s book see:
If you want to know more about Tamara’s story see: http://archive.worcesternews.co.uk/2003/12/1/150626.html
Best Regards,
Jim
