If your car had a flat tyre, would you take the day off work?

Some of the answers I’ve got when I’ve asked this question are:

Yes

No

Depends

Depends on what? I might ask.

If I could get it fixed

If I had an important day scheduled

The resounding “no” answer would normally be followed up with a string of alternatives to ensure they got to work.

I’d arrange a lift

I’d get it fixed

I’d work from home

I’d take a train/bus etc.

In my experience not many people say they would take the day off.

Another question for you then.

If you had a pain in your back/knee etc, would you take the day off training?

If your answer is anything but a resounding “no”, I’d love to know why.

I think you could be missing out on a wonderful healthy life.
