10 things you should do as soon as you’re registered

1. Add a photograph of yourself to your profile. Click on “My Account” then click the “Edit Account” tab and then follow the instructions in the form.
2. Edit your signature line. Click on “My Account” then click the “Edit Account” tab and then follow then add your short promotional message in the appropriate field.
3. Tell people about yourself/your business. Click on “My Account” and then click the “Edit Profile” tab. Complete the “About Me” section and then click “Submit”.
4. Share your Vital Stats. Click on “My Account” and then click the “Edit Profile” tab. Complete the “Stats” section to help friends and people like you find your profile and then click “Submit”.
   
5. Share your Interests and 50 favourite words. Click on “My Account” and then click the “Edit Profile” tab. Complete the “Interests” section and then click “Submit”. The 50 words field is linked to the search engine so will make finding people like you easier.
   
6. Participate in the forums. Ask questions or answer them here…
   
7. Find a group and join it. Find a group that shares your interests and join it to get updates on content that interests you most here…
8. Find friends or favourite authors. Use the search tool or click here to find people you know, click on their profile and click “add to buddies” to add them to your buddy list.
9. Get Creative. Post book reviews, comments, favourite books and more here…
   
10. Invite your friends and colleagues. Once they join they immediately become your buddies when you use the form here…
