I am a freelance journalist, editor, scriptwriter and producer. Originally from Australia my work, and now that of my husband, has taken me around the world. Currently a "trailing spouse" based in Cape Town, Sth Africa, I've lived and worked (aka written) in Australia, Hong Kong, Dubai, Norway, Mexico, USA and now South Africa. I have a thousand ideas, a million good intentions and not enough sit-down-and-do-it-power at the moment. Looking for positive role models, inspiration, motivation and a kick in the **** from others.

I love movies & cinema history (and have written & produced several including internationally released feature, short films, and corporate videos). Am passionate about reading all sorts of material and find the best source of knowledge in a new place is gained by reading the local telephone phone (true!). Am happiest when I'm travelling and seeing new things, meeting new people and experiencing the unusual. Love working with children, especially underprivileged, and have found a new direction since coming to live in Sth Africa, working with HIV+/AIDS babies and toddlers, including being a new mum to a gorgeous, happy, healthy, adopted African angel girl.
