I have been searching for ideas for my books, and I must warn you I am only the age of thirteen, and my works may not be as good as thousands of you out their. but my dream is to be a novelist, thriller to be specific.

I have an idea for a book, should I put this idea to someone and see if it would be successful or do i collate it and then see what happens. The theme of my book will be based around letters from people... of which i have not acessed yet. what do people suggest?

As I said before I need comments so I can make the book better. It is really vaguei know but bear with me im really sick and it hurts my head like hell typing this, but i really need to write the first couple chapters of this book to see if it is worth writing you guys could help me too.

I have just thought of an idea for a book.

I am outlining and also fleshing out several stories for inclusion in a set of short stories.  Each of them take place in the fictional town of Cold River on the Canadian Prairies.  And each story will focus on the residents of the town coming into contact with supernatural phenomena and people with otherworldly problems in their lives.  I will give some of the outlined ideas and I'd love some help deciding which ideas to flesh out and which ones people recommend scrapping.  For immediacy I'll just number the first six of them:

well i've got the first page of a book with no title. So far it's about a teen about 14-17 years old, whose family is killed by futuristic gang members. (book takes place in 2030+) He leaves the "Slums" to cross the "Wasteland" that was caused by nuclear war. along the way he encounter the "zombies" and has to sneak/fight his way across ruined cities (post-apocalyptic US, probably west coast/ midwest) with restitance members. No ending planned yet. feel free to comment. need ideas!

Start: A grandad takes his five grandchildren down to the beach for a day trip. The children decide to take a trip out to sea on their dinghy as their grandad sits down on the beach. The grandad nods off, not realising that his grandchildren have sailed dangerously far out to sea, when suddenly a strong wind and huge wave upturn the childrens dinghy.

 This is the first blog I ever worte. I suddenly felt the urge to write part of my story tonight. Life is wierd and full of surprises and you really never know what is expected in your path. For some it is pretty much planned out for others its a survival of a daily basis. Everyone has their own tale to tell. I would like to share just part of my story.

Here I am at the age of 24 but I don't really feel that age I feel more like 54 sometimes. I believed I endured many different events in my life I don't really feel my age I matured way before my time.

I have been a gambler now for the best part of 18 years. Steadily but predictably it has dragged me down to a level where I have lost all I had. I have lost countless relatonships, freinds, and recently had run ins with the police and spent five months in rehab. Still through all this I carry on gambling and destroying my future.

My idea is to give up gambling for the whole of 2009 in which time I journal my day to day feelings as well as reflect on past events and get a picture of what may have made me the way I am.

Taking a unique approach into action and fiction, this is actually a unpublished book I did involving fictional characters involved in a futuristic wrestling organization.  This book follows a formula that the average wrestling fan would enjoy in that each chapter with the first and last chapter being the exception evolves around a wrestling match between characters or an event taking place between characters.  Each book in the series introduces new characters, advances the personality traits of other characters and provides the plot twists that many wrestling fans enjoy.  Th

A tale about a time when magic and dreams ruled the earth. himans and magical beings lived together in a balanced tranquility without the fear and suspicion that haunts us today. For centuries it remained that way until a young man discovered a a deadly power meant to wreack destruction upon the world.

Wow! This has been an amazing but overwhelming week. My idea to write a book on Spanish Football led me to setting up a website at www.Spain-Football.Org exactly a month ago. I'd had the experience of basically blogging 90% of Going Native in Catalonia on www.native-spain.com and so when I came to sitting down write most of the major themes were well-developed.

My book idea is about the intersection of fatherhood (4 yr old and new born), working for a bank in this current environment, and managing fantasy sports teams.  It would be a journey of one season/year starting with basbeball season then my second son being born, credit collapse, football season and then some wrap up ending.  Thoughts?

I'm 34 years old and the youngest of 7 kids.   My oldest sister (2nd oldest sibling) is 46 and just got diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer.    Her life personally and professionally is a total mess.   She's got a JD (from the only law school that accepted her) and an MBA (from one of those online universities) and only works temp jobs occasionally.   She met and married her now ex-husband within a month...met and married within a month.   He currently lives on a Navy base in Japan with their 2 high school aged sons.   T

SUMMARY

I run an ethical travel prpmotional company called ethicalescape.com We have been on-line for a nuber of years and have a wide range of properties and operators thoroughout the world. We are considering a publication. Our idea is to run a photography competition amongst our members and then to choose a photograph for each country. We will then do the same with a local recipe and combine into a world guide containing information about each country together with the photography and recipe. We're not really aiming this as a travel guide, more I guess a coffee table / cookery book.

Everyone spends a huge amount of their lives, tantalized by love, either by looking for it, trying to keep it, or trying to get over it.  We have more opportunities to meet people, we have more disposable income, more leisure time than any generation before yet finding love seems so elusive to so many.
