Blogging about Blogging
I'm writing this in a naked attempt to drive readers to my blog www.alisonwriting.wordpress.com. I'm keen to develop exchanges between writers and readers. Last week I was delighted when an author I'd met last year at an event found my blog and got in touch. It's lovely to be supported by friends and contacts and to have their comments. It's a different kind of excitement when someone picks up on your blog and responds. Today's blog features Amnesty International at the Edinburgh book festival. I went to one of their sessions and it reminds me how easy it is to take for granted our freedom to write.
I write a newsletter about WORDS in ACTION, my business and I started blogging to have a space where I could focus only on the writing side of my life. You can sign up for Momentum, the newsletter on my website home page www.wordsinaction.net. If you haven't yet got hold of 'How to Stop Flogging a Dead Horse', click the Amazon link.
