Authors talk at Waterstones, New Street, Birmingham

Waterstones bookshop are showing support towards the International Day of
Peace by sponsoring an author talk on the 2nd Floor of their New Street store.

The crowd gathered in Chamberlain Square to mark the International Day of
Peace at 12noon would have a short distance to travel to the bookshop.

The two authors taking part are both named Jim Parkes and both their books deal with the subject of peace (albeit from two different perspectives).

The twin approach of the two authors creates an interesting area of debate. The macro approach by Erdington’s Jim Parkes focuses on political, economical and religious issues that affect millions whilst Halesowen’s Jim Parkes offers the micro focus in the search for inner peace of individuals. .
