Are you HD Ready?

The festive lights around my area have been switched on making  everywhere very colourful. Now the biting cold winds carry with them the excitement of the coming festive season.

 

People limping around due to the sheer weight of carrying the latest Argos catalogue home to children who are already poised with highlighter pens to make their Christmas lists. Adults staring longingly in Travel Agent windows looking at the far away holiday destinations available and teasing themselves with the choice that they could go somewhere really nice or stay here and be with their extended families …

 

Wherever we are at the moment, we can’t help but notice the phrase HD Ready. I wonder if you are HD Ready – yourself. For me it stands for Hopes and Dreams. What are our hopes and dreams for this holiday season and beyond into 2008?

 

 

My dictionary tells me that Hope is “desire and expectancy combined”.  Is it any wonder why the abbreviation for December is DEC ! There couldn’t be another month where these two words are combined.

 

 

I wonder what your dreams are for 2008. We are reminded by one of the songs from the musical “Joseph” that “Any dream will do”. It’s true … The magic is  having and holding onto your dream, never letting go. If you hold long enough, then soon it will then take hold of you – then enjoy the time of your life!
