3 Ways To Get Luckier
How useful would it be to have more luck in your life? How
would that change things for you? If you're interested and
keen to be luckier, read on for 3 ways to improve your
chances.
1. Dare to be lucky
I used to think it was the prerogative of other people to be
lucky. You know the phrase - 'some people have all the
luck'? It's usually accompanied with a dissatisfied sigh and
an envious glance, neither of which is very attractive. And
that's the point really. When we believe that others have
all the luck, we're not attracting luck to us.
So start changing how you think - why can't you be one of
the lucky ones?
2. Feed your mind
Make sure that your mind is given 'lucky food'! In other
words, make sure that you give it the right messages. If you
hear yourself saying 'knowing my luck', make sure that your
intonation is one that implies that your luck is the good
kind, not the bad kind. Put a smile on your face as you say
it. That changes the message, doesn't it?
3. Break your habit
Often we go through life not even noticing the good things
that happen to us. This is because we've got into a habit of
believing we're not the lucky ones and so we focus on the
times we've been unlucky. From now on, decide to notice all
the times luck has come your way, e.g. did the rain stop
just before you left home? Did you actually get a car park
space? Did you choose the right friends?
Start by doing these 3 things and notice how much luck now
enters your life.
